Details:
This course is identical to the Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) course for businesses and participants will receive an HSE compliant NUCO certificate for their Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work and therefore become qualified First Aiders. The only difference is that it is held at Ham Manor Golf Club in Angmering and therefore can be attended by individuals whether they are needing the qualification for work, or for their own interest and education. You do not need to have NUCO certification if you are taking this course privately (i.e. not for business purposes) and in such a case, you can reduce your cost to £85pp. Important note: without valid certification, you cannot call yourself a qualified First Aider and it cannot be applied for retrospectively. On the day, the trainer will ensure the training is relevant to each of the delegates typical risk scenarios as far as reasonably possible. This course is very hands on and interactive, with lots of discussions, practical sessions and activities to keep delegates engaged throughout the day. Delegates will need to have a level of fitness on the day of training that enables them to perform CPR on a manikin at floor level for at least 2 minutes. |
